How we work
Every project follows the same five stages. The reason the process is structured this way is straightforward: most installation problems come from vague scoping. A verbal agreement to "smart switches in the living room" leaves room for incompatible dimmers, wrong lock sizes, missing neutral wires. Documentation upfront — before any work begins — catches all of it and prevents rework and surprise charges later.
1. Free WhatsApp profiling
Mahesh checks your scope, budget, location, and urgency over WhatsApp. A few minutes, no charge. This is where we confirm the project is a fit — the right service category, the right geography, a realistic budget — before anyone schedules a site visit. If it's not a fit, we tell you that clearly and point you somewhere that is.
2. Paid site visit
A specialist assesses your space in person, takes measurements, and captures everything needed to design the system properly. The fee is tiered by the depth of assessment required:
- CCTV-only: ₹500, approximately one hour. Camera placement, cable run estimation, network requirements, NVR sizing.
- Smart home, automation, or home theater: ₹3,000, approximately one hour. Full system design assessment — electrical layout, network planning, protocol selection, acoustic considerations for theater rooms, room-by-room device planning.
The fee difference reflects the depth of the assessment, not just time. The site visit fee is adjusted against your final invoice if you proceed with the installation.
3. Documented design
Within 24-48 hours of the site visit, you receive a complete project document: every device placed on your floor plan, every cable run estimated, every accessory listed, every cost broken down line by line. The quote is the deliverable — not just a number.
This is the step that prevents most installation problems. Vague verbal scoping is where rework and surprise charges come from. When you can see exactly what you're paying for, exactly where it's going, and what every component does, there's nothing to be surprised by on installation day.
4. Revisions
Two paths, depending on how much control you want:
- Verbal revisions (free): Tell Mahesh what to change — swap a speaker brand, drop a camera from the parking area, add a room — and he updates the document and sends a new version. Most customers accept after one or two rounds of this. No charge.
- Proposal Builder access (after 25% advance): For hands-on control over your design — compare product variants, adjust quantities, see live price changes as you edit. Mahesh reviews the final configuration before the install is scheduled. The 25% advance is adjusted against the final invoice. Fine-tuning happens within the design boundaries set at the site visit; protocols, electrical scope, and structural recommendations are not open for self-service changes.
5. Fixed-price install
One team handles the installation — no subcontractors, no handoffs. The price is fixed at what the document says; there are no additions on installation day unless the scope changes by your request. Every installation comes with a 1-year comprehensive warranty covering equipment defects, installation faults, and free replacement of failed devices. Annual maintenance contracts are available after year one for ongoing support and priority response.
